Alaska Children's Music Camp

Every summer, the Alaska Orff Chapter hosts the Alaska Children's Music Camp. This camp is one of the longest running Orff-Schulwerk camps for children in the United States. At camp, children will play, sing, create and move! Students will play xylophones and other instruments, use their singing voices, create rhythms and melodies in small groups, and move creatively using their bodies and props such as scarves.

The Alaska Children's Music Camp is taught by experienced and distinguished Orff-Schulwerk teachers Karen Medley, Kay Lehto, and Anchorage's own Miriam DeLap.
